The most simple, robust, versatile and economical water filter is without doubt the KBF bag filter. This filter body is made entirely of 304 or 316 L stainless steel and can cover flow rates ranging from a few liters to several m3 per hour.
This stainless steel filter can be equipped with an impressive range of filter bags and filter cartridges, which can provide a filtration threshold ranging from 0.5 to 2500 microns.
Changing the filtration threshold is a simple matter of changing the filter bag. It can be precisely adjusted on demand, depending on the performance required.
For coarser applications, the KBF can be equipped with only a grid filter basket.
Our KBF bag filters are systematically designed in passivated stainless steel. They can also be electropolished if necessary for the potabilization of water, supplied with a French certificate up to an Ra of 0.2.
The KBF is a partly manual filtering system, which is generally used for the “securing” of industrial water and especially for pumping water or for the purification of closed circuits. It can also be regularly used as a so-called sentinel filter in discharge operations.
Its simple but manual operation is designed to remove low loads of pollutants.
KBF filters can be equipped with a filter bag, a filter basket or screen or a filter cartridge.

Washing water
For washing water, the most standard bags are often monofilament bags between 50 and 200 microns depending on the purpose (recycling or discharge to the network or treatment plant).
Recycled water for process water
Thanks to the great variety of thresholds and materials, the bags can remove any type of pollutant from the process water network. Metallic particles, stainless steel, brass, fiber of all types or plastic particles. They allow the removal of all types of pollutants
Water in a closed circuit
The purpose of this type of filtration is often to maintain a correct level of cleanliness in a circuit. For this type of operation we often use low pressure drop bags to spare the pumps. These bags are often made of plastic rings, either pp or polyester. The filtration thresholds are between 25 and 100 microns. When the threshold is quite coarse it is possible to use stainless steel filter baskets.
Pumped water from groundwater or river
The great diversity, the nature of the pollutants and the subsequent use of the water, obliges on this type of problem to use all the ranges of the pockets available, from 5 microns to 1600 microns. It is also possible to find a solution according to specific needs, to install a filter cartridge in the body of the KBF bag filter.
The K2TEC PNT filter is an automatic stainless steel filter with extremely low operating costs. It is a simple, proven product with low maintenance. This filter has many advantages such as its filtration threshold, which can be changed by simply changing the filter media or paper. It can vary from 1 to 1000 microns.

Different types of filters can be used to filter industrial wastewater in a closed circuit. For isolated or low volume machines, gravity or hydrostatic filters are used. For large production lines with flow rates of up to several hundred m³/h, the filters use vacuum technologies with sequential advance. These filtration plants are grouped in galleries.
